About Dr. Wasserman
Dr. Wasserman has been in practice for thirty years. Born in Detroit, MI, she earned her undergraduate degree at University of MI and learned that snow and ice were not to her liking. She went to Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL (worse weather). Thus, the move to Texas and warm weather to begin her practice. She is married, has two grown children and three dogs.
She is centered on a non-surgical practice of podiatry whenever possible. Ingrown toenails can be treated in office with a minor surgical procedure. She has found that by changing footwear, adding orthotics to footwear, and making otherwise modest changes, foot comfort can be achieved. Bunions, hammertoes, painful heels, corns and callouses can usually be treated with these measures. She has opened a retail store, which specializes in comfortable shoes of all widths to accommodate those seeking comfort.
You are welcome to make an appointment with her, or stop in the store at your convenience and visit with Marco, who has worked with Dr. Wasserman for over five years. He is knowledgeable about fitting shoes for problem feet, and can advise you on orthotics and other products that you will find helpful.
